There are plenty of fall activities you can try with your family. Whether they are activities in nature or at home, autumn is the right time to spend time with your loved ones.
Autumn activities in nature
Among the autumn activities in the family, the favorites of the Romanians are the grape harvest and the apple harvest. It is a wonderful opportunity for your child to learn about the charm of autumn, how to make the must and the taste of freshly picked apples. These moments spent by you will be invaluable memories when you get older.
Another beautiful autumn activity can be a walk through the botanical garden or in the park. Your child will be fascinated by the thousands of colors in which the trees have "dressed".

You can walk, bike or roller. To make this walk an educational activity, you can buy a botany book. Challenge your child to identify as many species of trees as possible, helping with the fallen leaves on the ground.
If you stay at home and benefit from a small yard, you can gather fallen leaves in a pile. You can jump in the middle of them with your child and throw the leaves up as if it were snowing. And a leaf beating can be a lot of fun!
(Attention! Do not try the above activities if you or your child are allergic to dust).
You can pay a visit to the zoo with your child. Animals are usually more active during the fall and your child will no longer get bored of lions or wolves sleeping.

Autumn activities at home
Although the park can be fun to see even in the fall, it is almost nothing more enjoyable than staying at home with your family on a rainy day, watching a good movie on TV. Prepare a lot of popcorn and let your child choose the favorite movie or buy a new one.
During this time you can encourage your child to make a fall collage. On the way to or from school, advise him to gather things that inspire his autumn season: colorful and "crunchy" leaves, fir cones, twigs, pebbles etc. Stick them together with superglue on a colored cardboard and hang it in the child's room.
Prepare food with autumn specific: pumpkin seeds bread, apple pie, glazed apples or pumpkin pie. Ask your child to help you crush the cake, beat the egg whites or decorate the pie with powdered sugar or whipped cream.
On a mild autumn day, nothing is more enjoyable than removing the old games of naphthalene. Play Monopoly, Scrabble, "Don't get upset, brother" or even Macao. The whole family will have fun.
